Interviews & Features
Radio Show: Songs that Shaped Me
I created, produce, and host a radio show that “tells life stories through music.” I interview artists about 3 songs that have influenced their lives and creative pursuits. It airs on CAMP FM, the radio station for the CAMP Artist Residency in France. Season 1 featured interviews with experimental musician Nat Lyon, filmmaker Michael Donte, and film critic Walter Chaw. Season 2 featured composer Fran Dominguez (Forest Robots), community organizer Beatrix Li, and musician Gaelynn Lea.
All interviews are available at SongsThatShapedMe.com.
Podcast: Experimental Trash
I was thrilled to be featured on Nat Lyon’s always excellent Experimental Trash podcast. The full episode is below as well as my Low cover.
“The artist Sweet Freeze recently sent me a link to a great cover of this Low track. Nice dynamic/tension in this version. The bass, guitar, and vocals are very well mixed. Very well. This is how you DIY. If you like Low- you will certainly like this one.” - Experimental Trash Host Nat Lyon
Interview: Tapes from a Padded Envelope
What a pleasure to be interviewed about my musical background, process, and inspirations on this wonderful podcast! We covered my work as a solo artist, as well as the chamber choir I founded to spotlight emerging composers. They concluded with my track Sunspot (embedded below).
Installation: If Trees Were Lone Women
What an honor to be part of this magical, evocative, international installation and have my music played at night in a Scottish wood!
My song Thaw was one of 5 songs played continuously from an MP3 player affixed to a tree in this immersive installation. This Sanctuary Lab installation created by Artist/Organizer Clare Archibald included music, poetry, spoken word, and other works by more than 120 female and nonbinary artists from around the world, all played on loops and projected from 17 different trees. (September 2021)

Song Collaboration on a Compilation Album
Stir, my song collaboration with Time Rival, is featured on TRIP FM’s latest compilation album, Music for Dotted Lines. (Released May 2022 and named a “New & Notable Release” by Bandcamp.) Time Rival created this wonderful track, building off of my impromptu 8track session export below, featuring guitars, vocals, and a nail brush.
